This case study outlines UNFPA’s youth-centered humanitarian approach in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, focusing on the period since the October 2023 escalation. Through an investment of over US$6 million, UNFPA has reached approximately 489,500 individuals with peace and resilience initiatives. This includes engaging 72 young leaders in dialogues, sensitizing 12,960 adolescents on Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE), and providing Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) information and psychosocial support to over 5,530 youth through online platforms. UNFPA's approach in the country prioritizes the protection, participation, and empowerment of adolescents and youth by integrating health, education, and leadership initiatives. This aligns with the Global Compact for Young People in Humanitarian Action. Furthermore, UNFPA delivers vital SRH services and psychosocial support through various channels, including digital platforms, multi-purpose youth hubs, temporary safe spaces for girls, and integrated health services with mobile clinics.
