About Menassati
Everything youth needs in one place
Menassati is a digital platform for the Youth in the Arab Region. Menassati was created as a post flagship product after the Second Edition of the Youth Forum in the Arab Region, hosted by the United Nations Population Fund Arab States Regional Office (UNFPA ASRO), which took place in Tunisia in 2019. The participants suggested the creation of a Regional Youth Platform “Menassati” which translates to the Arabic word “My platform”. The platform is aiming to be a “Youth-led” digital space that brings youth together to find ways and opportunities to strengthen youth development in the Arab region. Following the end of the Youth Forum, Forum’s Task Forces were established to oversee each of the Forum Flagship Outcomes consisting of dedicated youth from different countries and supported by UNFPA ASRO and its partners to create and develop the “Menassati” platform.

Menassati aims to Connect youth with various diverse opportunities in the Arab State countries. Opportunities vary among undergraduate and graduate study program openings such as exchange programs between universities, organizations and foundations in the Arab states region. Traineeship opportunities in the region will also be listed such as internships, fellowships and training with all their relevant information. Moreover, events such as Forums and Summits that will be taking place around the region will also be listed with all its information and details to help youth engage in diverse activities. The platform will also include a News section that will include a broadcast that will be updated regularly with important events happening around the region as well as useful news for the youth.
ShababIT
Shabab.IT is a digital application targeting youth living in the Arab States Region. The application provides online and offline information on several topics vital to youth and adolescents in the region. The application will also include referrals to services available in countries of the region such as GBV and SRHR practices using technology. Among the different services that will be available is an educational section, which includes educational material such as online, certified, self-paced courses. The application targets young people and aims to empower them with knowledge to help them make informed choices about their bodies and lives.
